Conference 2004
NACEW convened a New Zealand Conference on Pay and Employment Equity for Women on 28–29 June 2004, at Victoria University of Wellington.
The conference contributed to the pay and employment equity debate by informing key stakeholders and interested parties, including academics, on the issues involved in broadening pay and employment equity to the wider public and private sectors.
The conference provided an exciting opportunity to discuss and debate pay and employment equity issues. It also provided an opportunity to think about a way forward for pay and employment equity for women in New Zealand.
