About Us: Who we are
NACEW membership comprises:
- six members appointed by the Minister of Labour (including the Chair)
- two representatives of New Zealand Council of Trade Unions
- one representative of employers from Business New Zealand.
Representatives of key government agencies relevant to the employment of women also attend NACEW meetings, including the Department of Labour, Ministries of Economic Development, Education, Pacific Island Affairs, Social Development and Women's Affairs, Te Puni Kokiri and State Services Commission.
